Alicia Scott is the Georgia State Director at the US Energy Foundation and CEO of Coalitico LLC, a philanthropic and non-profit consulting firm specializing in advocacy-directed grantmaking and coalition management.
With a background spanning finance, public policy, and non-profit management, she previously held executive roles in the financial services industry before transitioning to leadership positions in South Korea and later Savannah, Georgia. Alicia also served as a Regional Field Director for the Bernie Sanders 2016 Presidential Campaign and ran for the Georgia House of Representatives in 2018.
In 2019, she became the Executive Director of Launchpad2X, a non-profit specializing in training women founders. Alicia's commitment to social and environmental justice led her to join the Partnership for Southern Equity in 2020 as the Just Energy Program Manager, where she oversaw initiatives addressing equitable energy consumption and distribution, clean energy advocacy, and climate change.
Alicia is a TEDx Speaker and the creator of the documentary short film, "The 4TH Arm," highlighting the work of Black women community organizers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Commerce from Norwich University. Servies on Harambee House Citizens for Environmental Justice Leadership Council, she is also a member of the External Advisory Board at The Center for Sustainable Communities and Research Research Education at Georgia Tech.
With extensive experience in finance, public policy, and environmental justice advocacy, Alicia Scott is recognized as a leader and dedicated advocate for positive change in her community and for the planet.
