Brion Fitzpatrick is the Vice President of Business Development for C&I Nationwide at Nexamp. Nexamp, a US based IPP, and is a leading owner/operator across North America specializing in Distributed Generation (Community Solar), C&I, Utility Scale Solar, and Battery Storage energy Storage Systems. Since 2008, Fitzpatrick has developed more than 75 projects across 20 states, including a recent federal project for the installation of 2.4 MWs on 12 Fed rooftops around the National Mall (Smithsonian, National Archives, and Natural History Museum). Brion also has expertise in solar policy, emerging solar markets, and the procurement of hard-to-capture incentives. In his spare time, he previously served as the Vice President at TenneSEIA (TN) & Chairman of Georgia Solar Energy Association’s (GA), and is currently Co-Chair of Policy at GeorgiaSEIA (GA). He is the 2010 recipient of GA Solar’s Solar Advocate Award, 2014 recipient of GA Solar’s Certificate of Appreciation, and in 2015 he represented the State of Georgia’s solar community in delivering testimony to the EPA in support of Section 111(d) of the Clean Air Act. In 2020, Brion also served as a Judge on DOE's Solar District Cup. As VP of C&I at Nexamp, Brions focus is working with Fotune 500 companies on their nationwide procurement of clean energy, and their onsite solar and storage installations.
